Library-Wide Shuffle for MPD

100 Days to OffloadLinuxSoftwareMusic

I've been using MPD and the ncmpcpp client for playing my music. The only thing that I've been missing from other software is a library-wide shuffle.

I've found a simple solution to that problem using an application called ashuffle. It creates a playlist of random songs from my collection. This is all that I wanted and know I'm completely happy with my audio setup.

This post is day 11 of the #100DaysToOffload challenge. You can find other posts of the challenge here.
