F-Droid: App Store for Open Source Software

100 Days to OffloadAndroid

Another short post about something Android related. I want to introduce you to an alternative app store.

The store I'm talking about is F-Droid. It's an open app store which contains exclusively Free and Open Source software for Android. That way you don't need to rely on the Play Store run by Google.

I try to install most of my apps from F-Droid if possible or I will try to find alternatives for my apps if they aren't FOSS. One of those apps was the andOTP which is showed in my previous post.

I will most likely create a few more posts about FOSS apps that I use regulary in the future.

This post is day 5 of the #100DaysToOffload challenge. You can find other posts of the challenge here.
You can read more about the challenge at https://100daystooffload.com.

Feedback or Questions?

I don't have a direct way to leave comments on posts. But if you want to give some feedback or have some questions you can contact in other ways.
