Android OTP Authenticator

100 Days to OffloadAndroid

I haven't got a lot of time today for posting so I just want to show which OTP Authenticator I use on Android.

The authenticator that I use is called andOTP and is available on the F-Droid store. It is easy to use and has all the features you'd want from an OTP authenticator. The app is still maintained and looks quite modern unlike some other Android apps that I've tried.

Its source code is fully open and the app is licensed under the MIT license. I much prefer this app over the proprietary apps like Google Authenticator and Authy. If I use an app for security reasons I'd like it to be open source.

This post is day 4 of the #100DaysToOffload challenge. You can find other posts of the challenge here.
