Android Screen Sharing

100 Days to OffloadAndroid

For an project in university I needed to show the an Android app over Microsoft Teams. The problem is you can't select the Android emulator as a window for screen sharing. Thankfully I found an awesome alternative.

The application is called scrcpy and is very simple to use. After installing it I just needed to connect my Android device to my computer and run the application. Without any setup or other hassles it displayed my screen which I can select in Microsoft Teams.

It even let's me control the device using my mouse and keyboard and has a bunch of other features I haven't even used yet. This is much better than the slow Android Emulator.

This post is day 3 of the #100DaysToOffload challenge. You can find other posts of the challenge here.
